Stephen Davies

After graduating from Cambridge in the days when geosynclines were still in vogue, Stephen moved to Manchester for his PGCE where he was very fortunate to undertake his teaching practice under the guidance of David Thompson. He taught in comprehensive schools in the North West, finally as deputy head in a brand new Cheshire school.

Stephen was on the team of A Level and O Level examiners in the days of the JMB. After retiring from full-time teaching, he returned to examining with OCR and joined the team of ESEU facilitators. He set up the Geopix website providing revision guides for A Level Geology students and was a contributary author for the two OCR Geology textbooks.
