The fund was established by former students who were inspired by Frank when he taught A and O level Geology and Geography at Ashford Grammar School in the 1950s and early 1960s. The fund will support the continuation of the Geoscience Education Summer School, including the annual award of the Kenworthy Fellowship as a bursary to one of the attendees.
